Here is my visit to the "Thing". The original owners found this buried in Arizona, and couldn't figure out what it was. They were curious because it is a Chinese man, but he had be mummified. It is a real expensive place to visit $1.00 entrance for adults and .50 for children. Under six is free. Cool place to spend five minutes.
Through my windshield is about that. It is places I have been, and photo's I have taken.

Sunny Beaches of California
These are the other beaches of California, up in the mountains near Truckee, Ca. I was on a back highway that was just breath taking. If you ever get a chance to explore Donner's Pass or the mountains around it, I recommend it. I was hoping to get a pic of the lakes out in the area, but there was just nowhere to park.

A quick note from your host. Hello. I would like to talk to you about the dangers of photography. This is a bad disease. Once you are infected, there is no cure. The folks at Adobe claim that they are working on a cure, but every time they release Photoshop Elements, the disease increases in severity. Please help those of us that have this disease before it is too late. Symptoms include a camera around your neck, Always talking about that great shot, and of course Photoshop Elements goof off. This last one is recognizable by photos that have been slightly touched up or revamped. Once this last symptom is evident, it is too late. Please help today, call BR549 to help.
Another cool load
So I was sitting in my truck in a truck stop in Fremont, Indiana which is right on the Indiana Michigan border. Just minding my business, and I saw these two ambulances. I didn't think anythng of it, just enjoying the rainy day, then it hits me, the writing is in Hebrew. These ambulances are heading to Isreal. Kinda cool I thought.
If you click on the pic, you will get a larger image so you can see the Star of David and the Hebrew writing.

My first cool load
I realize that this is not something strange, or unusual, but it is my first cool military load. This is an M981 Fire Support Team Vehicle. You can read more about it here, http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/m981.htm.

Arizona
Here are some shots of the red mountains on the Arizona, New Mexico border in I-40. If you are in the area, stop at the truck stop at the Tee Pee Trading Post, and go to the truck stop and have a Navajo Taco. Indian Fry Bread as big as your plate loaded with chili, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, salsa, sour cream and everything else you could have on a taco. It is worth the stop.
