Paying tribute to those who have fallen.
The new memorial in West Jordan Veteran's Park. The monument is for two members of the 211th Aviation Battalion who lost their lives in a training accident near Eagle Mountain. The rifles are for three soldiers who perished in the fighting overseas.
I guess I am going to have to pay a visit to our hometown park! Didn't know we had a new memorial...never been to our town museum and haven't seen the new children's play area!
